The ΖΖ is a transformable mobile suit, capable of becoming the mobile armor G-Fortress. The G-Fortress can separate into two flight-capable components, called the Core Top and Core Base. The Core Base is operated by the ΖΖ's Neo Core Fighter. Unlike the Ζ Gundam's Waveridermode, the G-Fortress is not capable of unassisted re-entry. The suit is also equipped with a bio-sensor, similar to the one found in the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam.

In terms of weaponry the ΖΖ features a large array of powerful beam weaponry. This includes two hyper beam sabers which are also usable as beam cannons, a double beam rifle, a 21-tube missile launcher installed on the backpack, and a high mega cannon on the forehead.

While the ΖΖ Gundam has a very destructive arsenal, the weapons systems require a high level of energy. As a result the ΖΖ often found itself almost completely drained of power after using its high mega cannon. In addition, its complicated construction and transformation systems made it somewhat structurally weak. These problems were eventually corrected with the MSZ-010S Enhanced ZZ Gundam and its massive final upgrade FA-010S Full Armor ZZ Gundam.

People cannot understand how I have be looking forward of this Double Zeta Gundam Ver.Ka, It is because it is my fantasy and childhood in age of secondary school life. It is so disappointed after I got the model kit. First, Bandai was now using very soft plastic materials for their product. It may be the reason of green recycling or something like that. It makes the model become very soft and low quality.

Second, Bandai is master of the original model kit molding technology, and she got the copyright of all series of Gundam model. Why the Double Zeta Gundam in this time was very un-detail. The leg no metallic line, the arms… even on the whole body. I said nothing if this of Double Zeta Gundam is normal version. But Bandai stupid said this is {Ver.Ka} Kits….WT…..I would say that this is not Ver.Ka Gundam. Bandai was using the high quality technology to molding a Gundam which only the for Plain model combiner素組 rather than the expert modeler. I am getting crazy for Bandai’s stupid marketing strategic.
